- Sumsy: Five more straw bales.
- Travis: And I know somewhere just right for them.
- Spud: Really? Where's that?
- Travis: Your bedroom.
- Spud: My bedroom?! But-but my bedroom's... It's mine!
- Travis: We gave up our shelters, Spud.
- Spud: But you're machines! You lived outdoors before!
- Travis: And you used to live in the barn, didn't you Spud?
- Spud: (gasps) How could you be so cruel!
- (An angry Farmer Pickles comes out of Scarecrow Cottage)
- Farmer Pickles: Spud! What are these straw bales doing in my kitchen?!
- (Then, Wendy, Mr. Beasley and Dizzy arrive)
- Wendy: I just found a straw bale in my caravan!
- Mr. Beasley: I can't get into my yurt!
- Dizzy: We can't sleep in our shelter!
- Spud: Don't worry, everyone. Mr. Bentley's invited a few people to stay, but it's, uh, only for a few nights.
- Mr. Bentley: Our new residents aren't just coming to visit; they're coming here to live!
- Spud: Oh! My beautiful scarecrow bedroom!
- Farmer Pickles: What about everyone else?!
- Wendy: My caravan, Spud!
- Mr. Beasley: My yurt!
- Mr. Bentley: I don't know what all the fuss is about. All the new residents will fit in the tent. Is that my phone, Spud?
- Spud: Oh, uh, yes. Mrs. Bentley rang, uh, you were busy, and, because I'm your assistant... I told her some extra people will come!
- Mr. Bentley: Extra people? how many?
- Spud: 45?
