- This episode was paired with Buffalo Bob (Series 1) when it first premiered on PBS in the US.
- This is the first episode to be considered controversial. In early airings, and the 1999 UK VHS of Bob's White Christmas, in the scene where Bob gets a bit of wallpaper stuck on his face, it vaguely sounds like he is saying "fucking hell", just as he mumbles. Later versions had Bob's mumbling muted.
- When Wendy sees the mess, In the UK Dub Dizzy laughs nervously, but in the US Dub Bob laughs nervously.
Goofs
- When Dizzy is listening to her music, her eyelids aren't closed properly.
- After Bob, Muck, and Roley leave the yard, the green brush in Dizzy's mixer disappears.
- An extra lump of asphalt appears when Bob tells Roley he missed a spot.

- When Wendy asks Pilchard does she like the smell of Paint, blu-tack is in her eyelids.
- Before Bob checks to see Wendy, Dizzy's pupils are missing for a second.
- Blu-tack is also used to hold the door open.
- On the way to Mrs. Broadbent's House, Dizzy's eyes are wonky.
- When Bob and Dizzy go inside the flat, the road is absent on the interior set.
- When Dizzy first laughs at Bob, Her model has a paint chip near her mouth.
- When Bob tries again with the wallpaper, Dizzy had her headphones.
- The bucket is next to the ladder while Bob kept stepping over the wallpaper.
- Dizzy has her sad mouth on when chuckling nervously.
- When Bob apologises to Mrs. Broadbent when he thought about his mess, There was a tiny spec on top of his hard hat.
- Bob and Mrs. Broadbent were Astounded with Wendy's hard work, The road and the Machines disappears.
- Mrs. Broadbent Right (Viewer's perspective Left) Eyelid had a small spot of Sticky tac when she chuckled.
Censorship
- The original version of the episode features a scene of Bob mumbling after the wallpaper gets stuck on his face, and his mumbling was misinterpreted as him swearing as "fucking hell". HiT had the master tapes checked, and revealed that the "swearing" was clearly misinterpreted. Due to the initial controversy, later UK versions of the episode had Bob's mumbling muted to avoid controversy. The original version is only featured in initial releases of the Bob's White Christmas and Other Stories UK VHS. (Note: The US dub retains Bob mumbling without swearing, and is present on all US releases.)
