- “Okay, Farmer Pickles!, Travis Tractor's my name, packing/moving loads is my game!, Don't be silly, Spud! and I'd better be get going!”
- ―Travis' catchphrases
Travis is a turquoise tractor who belongs to Farmer Pickles and is often seen hauling a wood sided trailer. He helps out Bob and the team when they need it and keeps an eye on Spud.
Biography
While it is never stated how and when Farmer Pickles got Travis, Travis was seen with Farmer Pickles in his young days in When Bob Became a Builder.
Once, he pulled the line-marking machine, leaving white lines on the road, due to Spud uncoupling his trailer for the line-marking machine as a joke. The scarecrow was soon found out and had to clean up the lines as punishment.
Scoop and Travis would eventually have a race after they had a little argument. Travis is worried, as he is not the fastest tractor out there, but Spud decides to help him by pulling up obstacles to stop Scoop. Despite all of this, Scoop wins, much to Spud's anger.
Personality
Travis is generally mature and smart. He always has a quick-witted comment to give. He's very caring to others and is very headstrong and hardworking. He is both very busy and very helpful. Sometimes Travis can be sort of insecure, such as when he thinks he cannot use his plough blade to dig across the field without Farmer Pickles' supervision in Travis Gets Lucky. However, in Pilchard's Breakfast, it is shown that Travis can work without Spud or Farmer Pickles.
Travis acts like a caretaker to Spud. Travis would hide on occasion usually for no reason maybe to supervise Spud without him noticing. The original intro has Travis and Spud gleefully dancing in the field with Pilchard and Bird. But in the Project: Build It intro, Travis was not with Spud. Instead, he was hiding behind some sunflowers while unknowingly watching Spud leave with Scrambler. He still deeply cares about Spud and gives him advice as well as taking care of him.
Livery
Travis is turquoise green with black tyres. His grille mouth and exhaust pipe are red. The frame around his grille mouth is silver.
